As the Global Vertical Leader - Health at DP World, Magrietha manages the healthcare growth strategy and commercial function for one of the world's leading providers of smart logistics solutions. With over 20 years of experience in freight, transport, contract logistics, and supply chain solutions, she has a proven track record of delivering value to clients across life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, hospitals, and consumer health. Magrietha leads a team to develop and execute strategies that drive end to end supply chain solutions, increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction and ensure safe delivery of pharmaceuticals to healthcare professionals. During her tenure, Magrietha has been instrumental in DP World’s healthcare supply chain function building Africa’s most expansive healthcare distribution system – reaching 40 countries – in partnership with UbiPharm. Magrietha is passionate about creating innovative and sustainable solutions that enhance the well-being of people and societies. A large part of her role is overseeing DP World’s humanitarian aid capability. In this capacity, DP World works with major bodies such as WHO, World Food Programme, USAID and other large organisations to ensure the delivery of necessary medical and humanitarian goods in the face of crisis.
