Claudia Wunder, MBA, aHPh Head of Pharmacy, University Hospital St. Pölten – Lilienfeld Responsibilities include the strategic and operational management of pharmaceutical services, including procurement, quality assurance and clinical pharmacy. As a Qualified Person (QP), she is legally responsible for the release and monitoring of the pharmacy manufacturing processes. As Lead Buyer for Medicines, she is a member of the strategic procurement team at the Lower Austrian Health Agency (Niederösterreichische Landesgesundheitsagentur). She is responsible for ensuring that procurement is carried out in accordance with regulations, economically and evidence-based. Her professional focus lies on ensuring patient care, with an emphasis on supply chain resilience, digital transformation in pharmaceutical logistics and the further development of structures that support medication safety. She is representing her profession as Vice-President of the Austrian Association of Hospital Pharmacists and Delegate of the Chamber of Pharmacists.
