Jonathan (JB) has worked in pharma for 25 years, including branded (AZ, GSK), generics (Mylan) & specialty pharma and during the pandemic was seconded to the Governments COVID Task Force. He is currently Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Managing Director in the UK at Tanner Pharma Group. Prior to working in pharma JB also served as an Army officer in HM Forces.

As EVP Corp Dev at Tanner, there is a great alignment between Tanner’s mission of ‘improving patient lives by enabling access to medicines’ and the charity that JB recently established, namely the MVA Society. This came about after his son, George was diagnosed with this ultra-rare condition in Aug 2023, after initially being diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer (rhabdomyosarcoma). The Charity’s mission is to find a treatment by 2030! With 4 research projects already underway, its game on!
