Mario is an experienced healthcare supply chain services professional with 20+ years delivering sustainable profitable services growth including 3rd Party Logistics, Clinical Trial Supply Services and pharmaceutical wholesale distribution. In 2024, Mario established Mpep Consulting to support the Pharma services sector to identify, develop and deliver profitable services growth plans. Prior to that Mario was Vice President of Services Development at Alliance Healthcare, a Cencora company, where his work included leading the successful global development of the Alcura Clinical Trial Supply Services business unit. Mario has a deep understanding of the functioning of the pharmaceutical commercial and clinical supply chains across Europe and beyond, and is also experienced with policy making, infrastructure challenges, reimbursement issues and healthcare professional and patient dynamics.
