In Lyon at LogiPharma 2024, we spoke to Rhenus Logistics about why they sponsored for the first time.

Why did you choose to sponsor LogiPharma 2024?

Rhenus Logistics: We’ve attended with other companies in the past but it’s our first time sponsoring as Rhenus Logistics. We’re back because we’ve found LogiPharma to be the best place when it comes to pharma logistics, that was our main driver. We’ve also been building up our life sciences and healthcare vertical successfully over the last few years. So, we decided it was the right time to sponsor LogiPharma, to build brand awareness and help the industry understand who we are and what we do.

How have the networking and breakout sessions been?

Rhenus Logistics: They’ve been very positive. We have absolutely been able to have more relaxed conversations at the drinks receptions and coffee breaks.

We purposely chose our stand location to be near a key networking area, giving us the opportunity to meet up with delegates during session breaks in a more informal way, networking and exchanging ideas. All engaging conversations.

Were you able to attend any of the sessions?

Rhenus Logistics: Yes, some of us did, we used it as an opportunity to learn. It cemented our standing in the industry, confirming what the supply chain industry’s main challenges were, which helped our conversations with delegates on site. It wasn’t just a one-way street, there was a chance to ask questions. The interactions with the audience were great.

I attended some of the smaller track sessions and a few sessions in the main plenary. It was great to experience a more intimate setting, but also see the whole audience discuss great topics on the main stage. I’ve attended events in the past where sessions have not covered the topic successfully and have felt more like a sales pitch, but at LogiPharma it’s different, they really cover the hot topics.

How would you rate the organization of the event overall?

Rhenus Logistics: Very, very… very good! We’ve had a discussion as a team, and we all agree LogiPharma is very well organised. The pre-event collaboration with our marketing team was great, through different links, direct conversations and exchanges. Everything flowed, there’s nothing I would complain about, and we’ve met the right level of people; key stakeholders and decision-makers, it’s been great.
