Liam Dunne has over 20 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and development activities. During his career Liam has worked in operations, technical support, strategic planning and development of new small molecules in roles that have placed him in Europe, Asia and the USA. Liam has a broad understanding manufacturing operations and the CMC activities required to commercialize new products. Liam is currently the Associate Vice President of Global Pharmaceutical Commercialization, a group of approx. 200 scientists and engineers located worldwide. The group is responsible for the late stage development of Merck’s small molecules across drug substance, drug product and packaging for both worldwide and regional products. The group also manages manufacture and supply of late stage clinical materials, technology development of new and innovative manufacturing technologies and provides site based technical support to Merck’s commercialization sites in Ireland and Puerto Rica.
