James Hiscock

James Hiscock can best be described as a “pharma operations fanatic”, with over 25 years industry experience in logistics, manufacturing and supply chain. Born and raised in Portsmouth, England, he started his career at Wyeth UK, moved to Switzerland in 2001, and took on supply chain roles of increasing responsibility across 3 pharma companies. In his current role at Vifor Pharma he is responsible for New Product Introductions (NPI) and Strategic Partnerships, where he manages the implementation and launch supply for a growing portfolio of license partnerships and pipeline assets. Most recently James successfully led a very challenging launch of two new brands simultaneously, a first for Vifor Pharma. In addition he is leading a strategic manufacturing project with an external partner, to build capacity and supply security. James holds a Diploma in Export & International Trade from the Institute of Export, and a MBA from INSEAD. He lives with his Swiss wife and two children close to the lake of Zürich
