Claudia Bertrams

Claudia Bertrams is a highly seasoned pharma and biotech executive with a strong cross-functional and multi-industry background in differently sized organizations, and across commercial and clinical distribution. Over the past 12 years her focus has been on supply chain readiness for orphan drug launches in fast growing organizations. Her first experience was with InterMune launching their rare disease therapy in over 15 markets within 3 years. When InterMune was acquired by Roche, Claudia played a key role in the integration of the supply chain and joined Roche's External Manufacturing Materials Management. Claudia joined Ultragenyx in 2016 to establish the European Supply Chain with a distribution network building on strong business partnerships for their rare disease therapies, launching the first product Mepsevii. Her responsibility expanded into APAC, launching Mepsevii in 2022. Claudia’s current key focus is the launch readiness for multiple commercial products & the distribution in EMEA & APAC.
