Al Kalmbach

Al Kalmbach is currently Assistant Vice President – Cargo at DFW Airport. Al has been at DFW Airport for 4 years. In his role Al is responsible for commercial outreach and the implementation of various cargo initiatives aimed at supporting the growth of cargo at DFW as well as creating a more efficient cargo ecosystem. Al has over 35 years’ experience in the air cargo industry. He began his career with BAX Global in Phoenix followed by 16 years with American Airlines Cargo in various management roles in cargo sales, alliances and operations. After leaving AA Cargo, Al joined Prologis and ran the Airport Facilities Group for 12 years. Al is very well rounded in the industry with freight forwarder, airline, cargo building developer and operator and airport experience.
