When asked in our survey how sustainable their current supply chain is, a whopping 85% of respondents believe their current supply chain is only ‘somewhat sustainable’ when measured against the United Nations Sustainability development goals.

Yet, a significant obstacle in the pursuit of these objectives lies in packaging, where safety standards must be upheld to safeguard patients from potential risks.

In fact, 65% of supply chain leaders revealed that the biggest hindrance when driving forward thermal packaging is understanding the CO2 impact of their current packaging.
