Gilead and AWS Collaborate on Development and Delivery of New Medicines for Patients

As a biopharmaceutical company advancing innovative medicines to prevent and treat life-threatening diseases, Gilead Sciences Inc. has a vested interest in making sure its products are able to reach those who need them in the most effective manner possible.

That is why the California headquartered pharma brand has recently joined forces with Amazon Web Services as its preferred cloud partner.

Through the partnership, Gilead’s data scientists will gain access to the very latest in machine learning and analytics which will empower the company to design stronger and more efficient supply chain networks – better equipped to remain resilient in the face of globe-spanning challenges such as the COVID-19 crisis.

This partnership represents Gilead’s first implementation of production-scale ERP systems in the cloud and will provide its digital transformation team with scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure.
