Jurrien Faas has almost 10 years’ experience in the operational field of aircraft ground handling. In 2008 he joined KLM Ground Services in the position of Staff Planner and later on he moved to the role of Training School Manager. Three years later he moved to the baggage handling department. After being an Operational Manager in this field for around 3 years he made a move towards another operational division. End 2016 he stepped into the fascinating world of Cargo handling within AFKL in the role of Project Manager GDP & Quality Assurance Manager and therefore he is also the GDP Responsible Person within the company. This role was a new challenge for him and an opportunity to discovered two new worlds, the world of Cargo handling and the world of Pharmaceuticals. Discovering new worlds, meeting new people and sharing operational insights is what drives him. There is so much to explore and to learn and Jurrien believes that when focusing on this elements quality and process can really be improved. Jurrien hold a Bachelor in Logistics and lives in the western part of the Netherlands. To stay fit he runs a couple of kilometers a week. He is married and has three young kids.
