Barbara is an economist by initial training and later acquired a MSc in International Pharmacoeconomics and Health Economics. During her 20 years tenure at Roche she has held responsibilities in various global Supply Chain Management functions, both for commercial products, as well as for Investigational Medicinal Products in clinical studies. Since 2007 Barbara has worked for SMEs focusing on the development and marketing of orphan drugs for rare diseases. Currently at Santhera Pharmaceuticals Barbara has responsibility for commercial distribution and related services - in collaboration with a network of CMOs and service providers.
